Save the date as Riverside presents “Summer in Song” with Denise Pelley on Saturday, June 13 at 7:00pm. Tickets are $30 and are available from the church office and Tuckey Home Hardware in Old South - Wortley Village.
On Monday, June 8 at 7:00pm in the sanctuary, the movie, Prayers for Bobby will be featured. This movie is about a conservative Christian family’s journey with their gay son. This is a TV-14 movie due to strong thematic content, including suicide, emotional and religious trauma, and homophobic slurs.

On Tuesday, June 2 at noon, all women of the community of faith are invited to the UCW Summer Picnic Potluck. Please bring your favourite summer dish. Beverages and dishes will be provided.

The Ruth Poulton Group Is Gathering at the Tin Cup at 1324 Adelaide N on Friday, May 22 at 2;00pm. Cost is $14.99 a person. All women are welcome to join. Let Willeta know at wuillingfun@gmail.com or 548-468-4691 so we have an idea how many to expect and perhaps suggest car pools.

We are hosting a Victoria Tea on Saturday, May 2 at 2:00pm. Reservation is required by contacting Willeta at wuillingfun@gmail.com or 548-468-5691 by April 24. Victorian dress is optional.
On Sunday, April 26, Riverside will be hosting the Calvary, Wesley-Knox and White Oaks congregations as we all celebrate the Covenanting Service of Rev. Dr. Rob Apgar-Taylor, Rev. Michelle Owens and Rev. Kerry Stover and the pastoral relationship of our Shared Ministry. It will be a joyful multigenerational service. The service will take place at 4:30pm and there will be a potluck supper following in the multi=purpose room. Everyone is invited to come to the service and stay for dinner. Each congregation has been assigned a category for the potluck. As Riverside is the host, we are in charge of set up, clean up, beverages, buns and butter. You are of course allowed to bring a potluck dish to share if you wish to. To get an idea of numbers, there is a sign-up sheet at the back of the sanctuary. We look forward to celebrating this unique ministry and our fellow communities of faith who are on this journey.

On Saturday, April 25, the Scouts will be cleaning up McKillop Park. If you are interested in helping, please meet at the parking lot in the park at 10:00am. Please bring gloves and garbage pickers if you have them.

Join us on Saturday, April 18 at 7:00pm for Trivia night hosted by David Bogaert. It will be a fun (non-competitive) evening. We play in teams of up to 10 people. Tickets are $10.00 and light refreshments will be available. No Jeopardy champions please!
