News from the WiTH Team: Our Riverside United Church Summer Picnic date is: Sunday, July 13. We will have the picnic following service from 11:00am. to 1:00pm. on Riverside grounds. We will ask those attending to bring a lawn chair, a game to play, and something to share for a pot luck lunch. Please sign up using the sign up sheet at the back of the Sanctuary to let us know you plan to attend and what potluck dish you are planning to bring.

Piano Concert Celebrating Canadian Composers

Join Sydney for a piano concert celebrating two wonderful Canadian composers: Beverley McKiver and Oscar Peterson. Admission is by donation at the door, with proceeds supporting Sydney's work and the ministries of Riverside.

A WiTH Team Games Night is planned for Friday June 6. from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. To help us prepare, if you plan to attend, please sign the Games Night sheet at the back of the sanctuary.
All the women of Riverside United Church are invited to a U.C.W. picnic potluck on Tuesday, June 3 at 12:00 noon in the Multi Purpose Room. Please bring a dish to share, dishes and drinks will be provided.

Join us on Saturday, May 24 at 7:00pm for Maggie’s Wake! Maggie’s Wake is a Canadian, female fronted roots band that delivers unforgettable performances while creating a sound that is at once, both classic and modern. With original compositions that remain faithful to their influences in traditional folk and classic country music, their songs are enhanced by Celtic instrumentation which gives them an unmistakable sound. Tickets are $35.00 and are available in the church office.

The United Church Women and M6:8 Social Outreach Committee present a screening of the movie, Atrocity, on Saturday, May 10 at 2:00pm in the Sanctuary at Riverside United Church.
Retired London Police sergeant, Nigel Stuckey, shares real life stories of the unhoused: their struggles and supports. This film won the Impact Award at the 2024 Forest City Film Festival.
