MESSY CHURCH
Riverside United Church is holding an intergenerational "Messy Church" event on Friday, February 6, 2026, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Our theme is "Give Thanks With a Grateful Heart" and is based on the story of the 10 lepers.
Messy Church is a relaxed worship service that involves fun activities such as crafts, games and participating in story telling as well as snacks and fellowship afterward. Children and their parents, grandparents and other adult are all invited to take part. Please feel free to bring a friend - all are welcome. (Please note that parents must also attend with their children.)
If you have any questions or if there are some teenagers who would like to help with activities and work toward their volunteer hours, please contact Carol Atkinson at carol@riverside.on.ca
Note: Messy church is not about getting messy or making a mess (some have thought that based on the name).
WALK THE LABYRINTH
Riverside invites you to a time of quiet reflection, meditation and prayer as you walk the labyrinth. You are welcome to drop in, as you are able, from either 2:00-4:00pm or 6:00-8:00pm on Wednesday, February 18, 2026.
