Trivia Night
Join us on Saturday, April 18 at 7:00pm for Trivia night hosted by David Bogaert. It will be a fun (non-competitive) evening. We play in teams of up to 10 people. Tickets are $10.00 and light refreshments will be available. No Jeopardy champions please!

McKillop Park Cleanup
On Saturday, April 25, the Scouts will be cleaning up McKillop Park. If you are interested in helping, please meet at the parking lot in the park at 10:00am. Please bring gloves and garbage pickers if you have them.

Covenanting Service
On Sunday, April 26, Riverside will be hosting the Calvary, Wesley-Knox and White Oaks congregations as we all celebrate the Covenanting Service of Rev. Dr. Rob Apgar-Taylor, Rev. Michelle Owens and Rev. Kerry Stover and the pastoral relationship of our Shared Ministry. It will be a joyful multigenerational service. The service will take place at 4:30pm and there will be a potluck supper following in the multi=purpose room. Everyone is invited to come to the service and stay for dinner. Each congregation has been assigned a category for the potluck. As Riverside is the host, we are in charge of set up, clean up, beverages, buns and butter. You are of course allowed to bring a potluck dish to share if you wish to. To get an idea of numbers, there is a sign-up sheet at the back of the sanctuary. We look forward to celebrating this unique ministry and our fellow communities of faith who are on this journey.
Victorian Tea
We are hosting a Victoria Tea on Saturday, May 2 at 2:00pm. Reservation is required by contacting Willeta at wuillingfun@gmail.com or 548-468-5691 by April 24. Victorian dress is optional.

Maundy Thursday Service and Potluck
Maundy Thursday will be celebrated at 6:00pm in the multipurpose room at Riverside. There will be a potluck meal, a brief service, and communion. Rev. Rob will lead worship with Rev. Michelle assisting.

Pancake Dinner
Join us on Tuesday, February 17 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm as the 70th London Rovers, Venturers, Scouts, Cubs, and Beavers will once again be serving a pancake supper for Shrove Tuesday.

Messy Church
Riverside United Church is holding an intergenerational "Messy Church" event on Friday, February 6, 2026, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Our theme is "Give Thanks With a Grateful Heart" and is based on the story of the 10 lepers.
Messy Church is a relaxed worship service that involves fun activities such as crafts, games and participating in story telling as well as snacks and fellowship afterward. Children and their parents, grandparents and other adult are all invited to take part. Please feel free to bring a friend - all are welcome. (Please note that parents must also attend with their children.)

Join us at 4:00pm on Wednesday, January 21 for an Ecumenical Prayer Service for Christian United Week. The clergy from Riverside, Wesley-Knox United Church, Calvary United Church, London, White Oaks United Church, St. James Westminster, Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church and hopefully one more church will be leading the prayers.
